Your son and daughter act like ours (3 years apart) did. They loved each other until 2-year old sister started babbling like crazy at 5-year old brother. Then it was love-hate for a few years, then HATE, then tolerance, then like. They actually get along quite well, now that they’re about out of college….

My brother and I (he’s 2 years younger) were at each other’s throats until I left for college, at which point we grew up – finally – and have been enjoying each other’s company for years.

On the other hand, the husband of one of my husband’s fellow teachers was fired from his job by his SISTER, who doesn’t like his wife. I can’t imagine.
