Mel, I love the scoreboard. I laughed so hard. Nice to know that you and the boy are still alive. Good luck with the iPod insurance.

Thank goodness!!! We had a similar score with a cell phone that fell into a sink full of water. Amazing how these small electronics can recover once they dry out…

I think maybe you ought to have added:

    Mom: Surviving…barely!

    HA!

I’m missing the joke – is there a previous post?

Mel, at least you had insurance for the IPOD. We would have never thought to do that. I’m sure he’ll check his jeans next time before leaving them on the laundry room floor!

I”m glad you got insurance for the iPod! Or else the death of a teenage boy’s iPod would have made me cry.

How long til he gets the replacement? How will he manage until then? Do you have an old Sony Walkman he could borrow? I remember when my Walkman was stolen from my backpack at school, I was crushed, and I didn’t get a new one. Lesson learned, the hard way.

You know, somehow I’m not surprised that it came to this.

    You’re still alive!

Muahah, that’s why I buy CHEAP mp3 players, so I don’t suffer from iPod bereavement when I accidentally leave it at Bally’s or lose it out of my pocket. Woot.com, girl!
