I would find it even funnier if it didn't hit so close to home!! We also went through a bunch of clutter today, toys and books mostly and it's sick the amount of stuff we got rid of and yet there still seems to be so much! This is the longest we have lived anywhere, going on 5 years and so, yes the clutter is out of control. Plus my parents live with us so we have all their stuff and their parents' stuff!! and I can also relate to parenting style of a pirate and over buying school supplies and trying to distract Babygirl while attemting to accomplish something. Also, I think that moving a lot is the only thing that has saved me from such a storage room as the one you are describing.
